Hello! I’m Rik and welcome to rikrikrik.com. Some facts about me:
- I current live with my sexy lady, Nat, in Highbury, North London which means I have to put up with living near lots of Arsenal fans.
- I was born in Bury, north Manchester, but I was brought up in Ashton-under-Lyne, east Manchester
- I went to Van Mildert College at Durham University where I won honorary life membership because everyone thought I was great, or something like that.
- I did a mathematics degree, don’t know why because I soon found out that I wasn’t that good at maths and I haven’t used any of the knowledge I learnt since.
- Now, I work as a front end developer, which means I do XHTML, CSS and Javascript, but I regularly work with PHP and MySQL too. I can also do some Actionscript, Python and Processing too.
- I’ve also written some articles and tutorials for the lovely people at .net magazine, which is surprising considering my two GCSE Bs in English
- I current work for eConversions in Farringdon, central London. We have made several different websites including VoucherCodes.co.uk and welovelocal.com which was sold for £600,000 to GCap Media
