Microsummaries.org

On Friday, I soft-launched Microsummaries.org (by soft-launched, I mean made it live but didn’t tell anyone). The site is mainly a guide to using microsummaries, the brand new Firefox feature that lets bookmarks be like little RSS feeds.

Considering I only launched a site, it’s been quite popular already. It’s already been del.icio.used 18 times despite not even being on Google and only linked in a very few places. It seems that people are interested in microsummaries after all!

Enjoy this? Subscribe to the feed for the very latest updates.

Nice job. I’m interested!

Do you plan on holding a public poll, or some such, on the icon design?

I haven’t quite decided yet, it’s either going to be a public poll or a panel of designers. I’ve had one submission already, which is good considering the site has only been online in a very basic form for a week now!

Sorry for the lateness of this comment, Rik! Great work there – microsummaries are yet another feature which could be further implemented across a wider array of browsers and websites. It all goes towards aiding the visitor’s experience.

Also I like the basic form the site currently takes. To me it achieves what it intends to do – effectively provide information on microsummaries. Good work
