quickSearch v0.2.0 released

Just a quick note to let you know that my jQuery plug-in, quickSearch, has been released. It’s now a lot more powerful, and a lot easier to use. Check it:

I really like the list/table functionality. However, I’m thinking highlighting the matches would be more beneficial to text searching (i.e. paragraph example) than to hide paragraphs.

You’d then be able to highlight text on page load.

Hi Dan,

Yeah, I totally agree. quickSearch is more focused towards tables and lists really, which is why I made it in the first place. I have been contemplating making a jQuery plug-in that highlights matches rather than hiding them, which would work somewhat similar to Firefox’s search and highlight all feature. Keep a look out and I’ll see what I can do!
