My favourite blog in the world at this very moment (and has been for some time) is Blackett the First. Just brilliant.
What is your favourite blog and why?

Wow, thanks Thayer! As for my faves, there’s so many, but in the last few months a new one i’ve been lapping up is http://virtualeconomics.typepad.com/ – written by Seamus McCauley from inside the Daily Mail & General Turst behemoth no less – really sharp, big picture stuff on publishing, markets, “W** 2.0” etc… As for thrills – sure, there’s entertaining blogs out there but i get most of my thrills away from the ‘puter :-)
Thanks for the kind words Deidre, glad you’re finding it interesting.
For myself, I have two favourites at the moment; http://adverlab.blogspot.com, a blog about cutting edge developments in advertising that in terms of laser-sharp focus and breaking relevant news every day does everything right; and http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/the_dilbert_blog, Scott Adams’ blog.
(Scott Adams is best known as the creator of the Dilbert cartoons, but he’s also an entrepeneur who was recently voted the 15th most influential business thinker on the planet. For sheer clarity of thought and unswerving attachment to rationalism his blog gives me confidence every day that there’s still hope for the age of reason.)
When I saw Scott Adams’ blog, I was half-expecting his only-slightly-amusing cartoons, but actually his writing is really good, thanks for the tip Seamus!
Oh, and I completely missed a third one, which is really my favourite blog of all but isn’t in my RSS reader (where I looked to answer the question “what’s your favourite blog?”) – Umair Haque’s Bubblegeneration. Simply the most intelligent thinking about the digital media space being carried out anywhere by anyone. See http://www.bubblegeneration.com, and if you’re interested in digital media or thinking strategically or economics read all of it all the way through, especially the powerpoints on the right hand side.
The Dilbert blog is a find Seamus, thanks!
BTW, no probs about Thayer & Seamus both spelling my name wrong, even though I repeated it for you (and one of is you some kind of Celt, surely…). I’m sure Umair gets it all the time, or perhaps I’m not so sure…. Damn those non-English names ;-)
Maybe see you at the next Beers & Innovation on RSS Frontiers…?
